How Women See Quarter Life Crisis

Women's Quarter Life Crisis

Many times we have heard the term "quarter life crisis" being used on social media or even on casual conversations nowadays. But what does it really mean for women on their mid 20s shifting to late 20s? Have you ever wondered how women experience this thing called "quarter life crisis"? It actually boils down to a common denominator which is stability - stability in different aspects of life which would be discussed below. Here are the common issues women face during quarter life crisis.

Five quarter life crisis issues:

1. You don't get your dream job.

There's a different kind of excitement after graduation. The feeling of independence and that you could actually start earning your own money. However, common downfalls during the quarter life crisis is that women tend to get caught up in their dream job versus what reality has to offer. The frustration gets worse when you see friends or acquaintances doing so well in their career.

Sometimes people end up in a job they don't really like. Now for some women, they go into a career which is totally different from their educational background and that's okay (especially if they love the job). The problem starts when there is no sense of stability and happiness in the career. Handle the situation by socializing or going on a vacation. Check your life and work balance, maybe you're just pressured. Or better yet, go soul searching and look for a career that's worth it.

2. You feel lonely being single.

At mid 20s, women start to look for a stable relationship, one that would hopefully lead to a happily ever after. Loneliness comes in when a woman remains to be single when she doesn't choose to. Obviously, this does not apply for women in a relationship, but people do have different ways of coping to a "single" situation. Just don't be too desperate to be in a relationship just because you feel lonely.

3. You and your friends go in different ways.

At this age, you probably have a circle of friends whom you hang out or party with. But there will come a time when you and your friends focus on career and different things that could lead to loneliness or sense of instability. You go out less often or party less often which could be big deal for some women. Try to maintain balance with your career and social life.Luckily, this issue could be easily fixed through phone calls or online conversations.

4. You're expected to be and act like an adult.

For some maturity does come with age, while for others it doesn't. There are easy going people who would love to stay in their young ages being carefree and just playing around. It's fun to think of the simple problems you had as a teen compared to the more complicated things your confronted with right now.

The problem hits in when you're in work or in a bigger picture because society expects you to act your age - an adult. You have to be responsible, pay the bills, wake up early for work. Yes, it is a quarter life crisis issue that people adjust to, when you wished you can escape being an adult for a day.

5. You want that engagement ring so bad.

Engagement, proposal, and marriage would be the highlight of the quarter life crisis of women who are currently in a relationship. Well, yes women do want stability in a relationship and she's probably hoping and praying for her man to ask the question. The frustration sets in when friends and relatives of her age gets wed while her civil status remains the same.  Now, if you're the conservative type you just have to extend your patience, focus on yourself for now, and wait for this "quarter life crisis" to pass.

Why Women Love "One More Chance" and "A Second Chance"

The Reasons why Women Love the Popoy - Basha Tandem

The story of Popoy and Basha started in the movie One More Chance, which was released last 2007. Fans loved the first movie indeed because of the story and of course the 'hugot lines' that most of the audience could easily relate to.

The movie did not focus only on one story of love but it showed the different faces, kinds, and stories of love. This is the reason why most of the audience could relate with every line in the story. The One More Chance craze went on through some years and this movie sequel would certainly go through the same path.

The Sequel - A Second Chance

Recently, the Popoy - Basha fans blazed upon knowing that there's an upcoming sequel to the famous movie. A Second Chance will be launched this November, 25th on all cinemas. Their love story continues as a married couple faced with the challenges of the so called 'married life'. With that alone, there are lots of new stuff to expect from the sequel. The kilig, the story, hugot lines, and the promise of forever gets women hooked with the movie. But if you're still wondering why lots of women go crazy with this love story, here it goes:

1. The promise of forever

As the trailer goes, 'Simula bukas, ang meron nalang ay tayo, tayo habang buhay'. Most women dream of their own fairytale, where they could love and experience love at the same time. A love that would last forever.

People would have different views on love, on why it breaks, and on why it doesn't last. But nobody wants to grow old alone. Whatever our thoughts about love is, it all boils down to one common point that we long for, a love that would last forever. The movie gives a kilig vibe that true love does exist that it would make its way to forever.

2. The dream to be wed or to be a bride

Okay, now this one is a big deal especially for women in their late 20s and early 30s. It is a major life event that people go through or a 'life goal' for adults. Now in relation to the movie, it gives hope to women that, yes maybe they will be a bride someday.

The audience know that the love story of Popoy and Basha went through a lot and their relationship still managed to reach the altar. Many women could probably relate with the situation like being in a relationship and hoping that one day they will eventually get there.

3. The realistic hugot lines

Another reason why many love the story is because it shows the real struggle that couples experience. There is no false hope shown - or at least few, not like other Filipino love stories that aren't so inspiring.

One More Chance and A Second Chance shows that yes love could hurt and love could get you high at the same time. It could be too hard one day then rewarding for other days. The movie was written in a realistic fashion and less fictional which made people relate with the character's experiences. That is also the reason why every hugot lines could cut through.

Those are the top three reasons why women love the movie One More Chance and A Second Chance. Thank you for viewing the article!
